At the beginning of 2020, the development focus and direction of green buildings in Binhai New Area of Tianjin has become the common thinking of green builders in Binhai New Area. On January 10, the "Binhai New Area Green Building Technology Training" was held in Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Animation Building. The meeting was sponsored by Binhai New Area Branch of Tianjin Architectural Society and hosted by Tianjin Eco-City Green Building Research Institute. The meeting aimed to serve Binhai New Area green building construction management as the core, through experts' interpretation of green building policies and sharing of innovative technologies. We will promote the development of green buildings in Binhai New Area.

The meeting attracted more than 70 people from the construction authorities, construction units, construction and development enterprises, survey and design units, construction enterprises and other department heads and experts and scholars from the functional areas of Binhai New Area to participate and hope to explore the development direction of the green construction industry in 2020.

This meeting will focus on the following three points of exchange and discussion:

1. Grasp the green building policy of Tianjin

Three experts from Tianjin Green Building Development Promotion Center explained the development situation and policy direction of green buildings, building energy efficiency and prefabricated buildings in Tianjin. As a green building practitioner, the above three directions can become the policy guidance we grasp and rely on the project landing.

2. Keep up with the development of green building innovation technology

With the release and implementation of the "Green Building Evaluation Standard" GB/T50378-2019, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is preparing a new version of the local standard. This meeting is honored to invite the expert of the preparation group, President Wang Jianting of Tianjin Urban Construction University, he stressed that the standard is a ruler to measure the status and quality of construction projects, and workers in the green construction industry should follow the standard system. We must also grasp innovative technology and follow the rapid changes in the industry.

3. Promote green building services

"The realization of green building is not simply to obtain the logo, but also need to carry out professional services in the construction standards, technical concepts, process management, effect evaluation, etc." President Wang Ying of Tianjin Eco-City Green Building Research Institute said that green management methods and advanced concepts should be found, with standards as the starting point, to build a regional technical system, and to introduce information means.

After the meeting, under the guidance of the staff, the participants went to the Eco-City Animation Park, Public Housing Exhibition Center and Low Carbon Experience Center, three international green construction award-winning projects to visit and feel the application and measures of green technology.

Since its establishment, the Green Construction Institute has not only served the green development of eco-cities, but also committed to creating such an exchange platform, exporting green building technology concepts, and making more people understand green buildings. Previously, we have organized experts and scholars from Xiongan Green Research Think Tank, Binhai New Area Housing and Construction Commission and other green construction industries to jointly explore the development of green buildings. In the future, we will continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Binhai New Area and Tianjin Green Building Association in the field of green construction, concentrate on the high-quality development of green buildings in Tianjin, and jointly look forward to a green tomorrow!
