Celebrate the eighth anniversary of Tianjin Eco-City Green Building Research Institute

On June 15, 2011, Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City, China Academy of Construction Science, China Building Materials Inspection and Certification Group, Tianjin Architectural Design Institute and Gudao Engineering Consulting Company jointly established Tianjin Eco-City Green Building Research Institute.         

As a leading consulting and evaluation institution for the whole process of green building in China, the Green Construction Institute has gone through eight years. All the way through trials and hardships, all the way forward, Green Construction Institute has always been adhering to the corporate mission of "advocating green buildings, building green ecological city", exploring cutting-edge technologies and concepts in the field of green ecology, and promoting the progressive development of green buildings and green urban areas across the country.

First, the main business progress steadily

In the past eight years, through active exploration and attempts, the Green Construction Institute has actively carried out technology research and development, participated in the compilation of international and national standards, continuously expanded its consulting business, and gradually formed special solutions in various fields of urban sustainable development based on green buildings and green ecological urban areas. It has developed into a professional service organization with the whole process consulting, technology research and development, management consulting and special solution output as the core of green buildings and green ecological urban areas.

(1) Green building consultation

At present, we have completed the green building certification consulting work with a construction area of 20 million square meters, nearly 300 consulting projects, and declared more than 100 national green building signs, National healthy building signs, and national passive ultra-low energy consumption signs.

At the same time, on the basis of deep cultivation of green building certification consulting business, we have developed deeply into green building commissioning, operation and effective service, renewable energy operation and maintenance, green building information interconnection and other emerging fields, and presided over and participated in nearly 50 green building operation and maintenance projects.

(2) Green ecological urban consultation

In recent years, on the basis of green building consulting, combined with the world's advanced green eco-city and the development experience of Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City construction and development, we have explored special solutions for the construction and development of green ecological urban areas in line with China's development path. Up to now, we have completed more than 100 projects such as green sustainable development urban area, urban sponge city implementation plan, urban energy consumption optimization and renewable energy planning, urban green building planning and implementation plan.

In March 2018, the Green Construction Institute, as a consulting unit, declared the 2018 Construction21 International "Green Solutions Award" for the southern area of the Eco-city. From the award application to the end of the evaluation in October, after the initial review and screening of the organizing committee, domestic expert review, online voting, international expert review and other layers of link, it took 7 months, and finally won the sixth Construction21 International Green Solution Award first place in the world.

On the afternoon of April 3, 2019, at the comprehensive forum of the Green Building Conference, the "Tianjin Zhongxin Eco-City Southern Area Project" declared by the Green Construction Institute as a technical consulting unit won the first batch of "three-star marks for the operation of Green Ecological Urban Area" in the country. This is the state's full recognition of Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City's work in the construction and operation of green urban areas, and also proves our technical strength in the field of green ecological urban consulting.

(3) standard preparation and scientific and technological research and development

In the past eight years, based on the actual situation and hundreds of professional work, the Green Construction Institute has summed up experience and lessons, and actively participated in the preparation of national and local standards in relevant fields. He has participated in the Tianjin Green Building Design Standard (DB29-205-2015), the China-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Green Building Evaluation Standard (DB/T29-192-2009), the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Green Building Design Standard (DB/T29-195-2010), and the Green Construction Technology Management of China-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Regulations (DB/T29-198-2010), "National Health Community i Evaluation Standards" and other work. At the same time, the institute attaches great importance to scientific research investment, has undertaken nearly 30 national, provincial and other horizontal scientific research projects, 3 independent research and development patents, 17 software Copyrights, forming an innovative development model guided by science and technology research and development.

Second, exchanges and cooperation

We always advocate the win-win situation of the industry, and are committed to promoting the common development and growth of the industry, and jointly contribute to the development and innovation of green buildings and green urban areas in China. Over the past eight years, the Institute has implemented the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and actively carried out cooperation and exchanges. Through the technical support unit of the National Northern Green Building Base, the Institute has actively hosted green building forums, seminars, technical salons, and promotion meetings of evaluation standards in the field of green building, and played an active role in green building, healthy building, green building materials, green urban areas, green finance and other industries. It has also established strategic cooperation with the Southern Ecological New Town of Tangguwan, the Caofeidian Ecological City of Hebei, the Suqian Port Industrial Park of Jiangsu Canal, and the Tianjin Port Bonded Zone, and actively shared the experience accumulated over the years in the construction and development of green buildings and green ecological urban areas, operation and management experience, as well as the cutting-edge development concepts of the industry.

Third, do not forget the original intention, remember the mission

Eight years ago, China's green building industry was in the ascendance, we have shouldered the historical responsibility of the development of China's green building industry since its inception, and we have always adhered to the development of green buildings from green design to green operation, from green buildings to green urban areas, from green ecology to ecological intelligence.

At the same time, as a local company of the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City, we are also obligated to implement the "three and three functions" of the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City, promote and replicate the experience of eco-city construction and operation and maintenance, and promote and replicate the experience of cooperation between China and Singapore in urban planning, green building, green transportation, urban operation and maintenance, urban ecology, smart management and other fields.

From 2011 to 2019, we always believe that accumulating every ordinary moment can create an extraordinary era. Standing at the crossroads of the eighth anniversary, we look back at the past exploration, struggle and precipitation, hoping to draw more inspiration and motivation, the eighth anniversary, we accumulate, together more confident, firm forward.
