Tianjin Eco-City Green Building Research Institute, on behalf of the Tianjin delegation, attended the 15th Green Building Conference in Shenzhen

1. "Upgrading Green Buildings and Promoting Green Development"

    On April 3, 2019, the 15th International Green Building and Building Energy Efficiency Conference and New Technologies and Products Expo was held in Shenzhen. The conference was co-sponsored by China Society of Urban Studies, Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, Sino-US Green Fund, Green Building and Energy Efficiency Committee of China Society of Urban Studies and Eco-City Research Committee of China Society of Urban Studies. As the largest and most influential green building and building energy efficiency industry event in China, the conference takes promoting the development of China's green building as its mission, and makes important contributions to the international green building technology innovation and the healthy development of the global building energy efficiency industry. The conference invited more than 500 authoritative experts in the field of building energy efficiency at home and abroad and representatives of many leading enterprises in the industry to conduct special discussions and experience sharing, and more than 5,000 industry elites participated in discussing the green development of buildings and cities.

2、 Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City promotes green development

    Sino-singapore Tianjin Eco-City was invited to participate in this green building event. The exhibition booth was composed of five parts. The main color of the exhibition was ecological red, which represents the vigorous development of the eco-city. With green planning, green design, green consultation and green testing as components, the main achievements and contributions of China Eco-City Research Institute, Tianjin Architectural Design Institute, Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Green Building Research Institute and Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Environment and Green Building Experimental Center in the process of eco-city construction were promoted and publicized. The whole booth gives a lean, simple texture, with the open, inclusive, professional sharing concept attracted many experts, scholars and industry colleagues stop.

    At noon on April 3, Mr. Qiu Baoxing, Counselor of The State Council, Chairman of the Chinese Society for Urban Studies and former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, visited the booth of Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City for guidance.

3. Sino-singapore Tianjin Eco-City was awarded the first three-star green eco-city operation mark in China

    On the afternoon of April 3, at the comprehensive forum of the Green Building Conference, the "Tianjin Sino-Singapore Eco-City Southern Area Project" declared by our institute as a technical consulting unit won the first batch of "three-star marks for the operation of Green Ecological Urban Area" in the country. This is the state's full recognition of the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City's work in the construction and operation of green urban areas, and it is also the second honor that our institute has won in the field of green ecological urban consulting. In recent years, under the support and guidance of the Eco-City Management Committee, the Institute has gradually extended to the green urban area on the basis of green building consulting, and has developed into a professional service institution with the whole process of green building and green ecological urban area consulting, science and technology research and development, technology and solution output as the core.

四、on-site interaction, practice "can be copied, can be promoted"  

    During the conference, our Institute carried out the promotion activities of the 10th anniversary summary book "A Typical Eco-City Sample - China-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City" and "Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Innovation Demonstration Results and Cases" in the Eco-City exhibition area. This set of books aims to present a systematic and focused practice case of new eco-cities to urban construction decision-makers, managers and researchers at home and abroad, and help the eco-city experience to be replicated and promoted to other regions of the country and even the world, and strive to build the eco-city as a "global benchmark for sustainable development city".
