Healthy building refers to a building that provides a healthier environment, facilities and services for building users, promotes the physical and mental health of building users, and improves health performance on the basis of satisfying building functions. With the continuous development of social economy and culture, health has been paid more and more attention by the people. At the same time, industrialization, urbanization and environmental pollution have also posed new challenges to health. Buildings are indispensable to People's Daily life, and more than 80% of human time is spent in buildings. Vigorously developing healthy buildings is an important way and inevitable requirement for building a healthy China. The Healthy Building Alliance was jointly initiated by the top universities and scientific research institutions in China, aiming to promote the scientific research of healthy buildings, the transformation of results, and the promotion of technology, and promote the vigorous development of the healthy building industry. As one of the initiators of the alliance, Green Construction Institute has been committed to the development of healthy buildings. It has not only participated in the compilation of the first healthy building standard "Healthy building Evaluation Standard" in China, but also presided over the Eco-city 11b residential project which has obtained the first batch of healthy building labels in China. In the future work, the Green Construction Institute will actively assume the responsibilities of the governing unit of the Health Alliance, actively carry out relevant research and engineering practice, and help the steady realization of the goal of healthy China. |
