On November 24, the 4th Conference of Green Building Alliance in Cold and Cold Regions and Green Building Technology Forum was held in Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City. At the meeting, it was learned that up to now, 104 projects under construction or completed in the eco-city, more than 7 million square meters, all passed the green building evaluation. Among them, the "passive house pilot project" that can achieve warm winter and cool summer has also entered the design stage.

"Green houses" are now well known to the public, but these green buildings in the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City break through the previous single-building "green houses" building model, and the idea of green buildings runs through the entire urban design. According to Qi Jianqiang, president of the Green Building Research Institute of Tianjin Eco-City, "The eco-city will decompose the total carbon emissions of the city and the utilization rate of renewable energy into four fields: construction, municipal, transportation and energy supply. This' green building 'is a more comprehensive and integrated concept, a model that tends towards regional development."

The "passive house" project that has attracted much attention has also entered the design stage, and the design scheme is selected according to the climate, temperature and other factors in Tianjin. As the design unit of "passive house", Zhang Jinyi, vice president of Tianjin Architectural Design Institute, told the North Network New media reporter: "Eco-city public housing Phase II project No. 4, No. 5 two buildings will become the pilot study of passive house promotion, involving 108 houses. The energy efficiency of residential buildings will be increased from the current 75 percent to 90 percent."
