Yesterday, the "4th Green Building Alliance Conference and Green Building Technology Forum in Cold and Cold Regions" hosted by the Green Building and Energy Conservation Professional Committee of China Urban Science Research Society and hosted by Tianjin Eco-City Green Building Research Institute was held in Eco-City. Experts and scholars from relevant scientific research institutions, universities and colleges at home and abroad engaged in green building and building energy efficiency were present to exchange views and discuss new prospects for the future development of green buildings. As the first comprehensive demonstration zone for green development in China, the eco-city has been at the forefront of the exploration and practice of green buildings in China, attracting much attention from the participants.

Take the lead in establishing system-wide green construction standards

The Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City is the first urban area in China to set a 100% green building target. Since 2008, the eco-city has been in practice with this goal, which also opened the country's large-scale green building construction.

Qi Jianqiang, president of Tianjin Eco-City Green Building Research Institute, said that in order to achieve this goal, the eco-city has established a large standard system in the field of green building during the seven-year construction period. According to Qi Jianqiang, over the years, the ecological city has successively introduced green building design standards, evaluation standards, construction procedures and other green building related standards to provide standard support for green buildings in the ecological city. At the same time, the eco-city has also set up a third-party evaluation agency to ensure the green content of the eco-city buildings. According to reports, as more and more projects in the eco-city enter the operation cycle, this year, the eco-city has also compiled the country's first green building operation code. At present, the eco-city has realized the complete construction of green building standards system in design, construction, evaluation and operation, which is also the first in the country.

Not only that, these green building standards for eco-cities are also the first in China to adopt a combination of terms + project scoring evaluation, evaluation agencies score the implementation of each technical clause in the standard, this mechanism also provides a reference for the development of national green building standards. It is reported that the new version of the National Green Building Evaluation Standard issued last year referred to the eco-city mechanism when compiling, and assessed the final grade of green buildings with the dual mechanism of "terms + scores".

High standard green building is popular in China

Qi Jianqiang said that under the promotion of the above green building standard system, all projects in the ecological city are green buildings, and a number of outstanding green buildings such as green housing, zero energy consumption public buildings and green public buildings are also emerging in the region.

Rooftop solar photovoltaic panels provide enough electricity for use, ventilation systems based on chimney effects to achieve indoor and outdoor air circulation, the use of light guides to refract and reflect sunlight for indoor lighting, ground source heat pumps for heating and cooling buildings... The Singapore-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Public Housing Exhibition Centre, which integrates these advanced environmental technologies, is a representative zero-energy public building in the Eco-city area. Through the application of advanced building technology and a variety of renewable energy sources, the entire building has achieved zero carbon emissions, becoming the first zero-carbon building in the city, and recently won the National Green Building Innovation Award. In addition to the public housing exhibition Center, projects such as the Eco-City Service Center, the Eco-City Low-carbon Experience Center, and the Third Community Service Center have also adopted high standards of green building technology, becoming representative green buildings in the eco-city area.

Following this high-standard green building development road, eco-city green buildings have made many remarkable achievements. According to the relevant person in charge of the eco-city Management Committee, up to now, the eco-city has completed more than 130 projects, 7 million square meters of green buildings, 63 projects have won the national green building logo, of which 41 projects have won the national three-star logo, 6 projects have won the National Green Building Innovation Award. In the future, the eco-city will continue to focus on the development of green buildings along this road, and explore the existing problems of green buildings with other regions, and explore solutions, so that the development of green buildings in the eco-city will rise to a new height.
