Tianjin Eco-City Green Building Research Institute has become a member of the International Passive House Association

       On March 17, 2016, Tianjin Eco-City Green Building Research Institute signed an agreement to join the International Passive House Association and officially became one of them.

       Passive houses are not affected by the region, climate, is a healthy, comfortable, low energy lifestyle. In the past few years, passive houses have rapidly gained popularity, with more than 30,000 units worldwide. In Germany alone, more than 16,000 passive houses have been built, 10% of which have passed the strict Passive House Institute certification standards. These figures are still rising.

       The International Passive House Association (IPHA) is a global communication platform about energy efficient passive house technologies. It is made up of architects, planners, scientists, suppliers, manufacturers, contractors and property developers. The purpose of the association is to promote the passive house standard and give the public a better understanding of its meaning. The International Passive House Association regularly communicates with the media, the general public and all those involved in the construction profession to enhance the mutual exchange of passive house knowledge.

       Green Building Institute is committed to passive house design, consulting and research and development work, joined the "International Passive House Association" as a member unit, with its own green building technology and research advantages to promote the study of passive house technology research and development, and enrich its own technical strength.
