The Green Building Design and Operation Technology Forum concluded successfully

On July 16 and 17, the Green Building Design and Operation Technology Forum co-sponsored by Tianjin Eco-City Green Building Research Institute, China Construction Technology Group, HVAC Magazine, China Green Building and Energy Saving Youth Committee and other units was successfully held. The forum attracted nearly 300 experts and scholars from green building related units across the country to participate.

Qi Jianqiang, president of Tianjin Eco-City Green Building Research Institute, was invited to give a special report. In the report, by analyzing the development history of green buildings, as well as the high attention of national ministries, experts and scholars to the performance of green buildings, the importance of green building operation is expounded, and the practice of green building operation in eco-cities is introduced. Eco-city Green Construction Institute combined with the current situation of the industry and the project situation, explore the operation optimization model based on the performance objectives of green buildings, and improve the corresponding management system and technical system, and initially formed the life cycle management system and technical system of green buildings.

The conference set up a special session for expert exchange, and President Qi Jianqiang exchanged with experts and scholars from relevant domestic units, introducing the exploration and experience of Tianjin Eco-City in the field of eco-city and green building. At the beginning of construction, Tianjin Eco-City determined a complete green building management system, compiled a perfect green building standard, and formed an effective management of all stages of building planning, design, construction and acceptance to ensure the implementation of the green concept of the whole life cycle of the building. At present, the eco-city has 130 projects with a total floor area of 6.5 million square meters through the green building evaluation. At the same time, the projects that meet the requirements of the construction progress of the ecological city have applied for the national green building identification. By the first half of 2015, a total of 56 projects had been awarded the national Green building designation, with a floor area of 3.45 million square meters. In 2015, six projects won the National Green Building Innovation Award, accounting for more than one-tenth of the number of awards nationwide. With remarkable achievements in the field of green building, Tianjin Eco-City has won a series of honorary titles such as national renewable energy Demonstration City, green ecological city, green building demonstration base, green development demonstration zone, etc.

The conference also invited Zhang Jun, Vice president of China Construction Technology Group, Chairman of China Construction Technology Group Xiulong, Wang Qingqin, Vice President of China Academy of Building Science, Hao Jun, Vice President of Green Construction Institute of China Architecture Design Consulting Co., LTD., Wang Jianting, Vice president of Tianjin Urban Construction University, Wang Ying, Vice General Manager of Ecological Science and Technology Department of Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Investment Development Co., LTD., and other experts. Special reports and exchanges were conducted on green building policies, design cases, and operational optimization methods. On the afternoon of the 17th, the delegates came to Tianjin Eco-City, visited the public Housing Exhibition center and the low-carbon Experience Center, and had in-depth exchanges.
